Serve Day - April 23rd 2016

At Lifepoint, we believe that we are never more like Jesus than when we serve. On Saturday, April 23rd, we have several opportunities to make a difference in our community. Projects will fill up fast so make sure you read the descriptions below and sign-up today!

Vigilant Hope: Vigilant Hope hosts a pancake breakfast every month at Epworth Church. This meal takes place at 8am and will be geared towards serving our homeless friends in the Greenfield Lake area. We will also be washing cars for people of the community. This event lasts until noon and is family friendly.

Work on Wilmington: Work On Wilmington aims to make our city a better place to live. We have reserved opportunities for 20 people to assist with Work On Wilmington. If any of you have special construction type talents; this is your time to shine (although all are welcome). 8am - noon with a party by the battleship following. This event is geared for age 16 and older.

Sole Hope: Sole Hope is an amazing organization that provides shoes to combat the many diseases caused by not having footwear. We will be transforming jeans into what will become shoes that will be sent to Uganda!  Bring a pair of scissors, empty clean plastic milk jugs and any jeans you no longer need. This event will be held at Lifepoint Church from 4-6pm, and is family-friendly.
