Church is an opportunity to make friends, share how God’s working in your life, and practice serving and encouraging others.

When we read the Bible, it’s important to ask a lot of questions like, “Who wrote this? Who were they writing to? What genre is this book (poetry, history, letter, etc.)? And what’s happening in this book or chapter?”

Prayer is meant to be a personal conversation with God—like you would have with friends, family, or a mentor. Take the pressure off. Let go of how you think you should pray and just talk with God openly and honestly.

The Bible tells us that baptism is everyone's next step after salvation. It is an outward expression of what Jesus has done inside, a public declaration that you have left the old life behind and have been raised to life in Christ. Baptism is a celebration of a believer’s decision to trust Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
